How to verify your mobile number

You received this text message to verify your mobile number for number transfer. Only reply to this text message if you are joining Simpel and want to keep your existing number. Please note that we cannot start the process of transferring your number if you do not reply to this text.

Verify your mobile number to bring it to Simpel

Before we ask your current provider to transfer your number to us, we need to confirm that the specified mobile number is correct and really is yours. We do this by sending you a unique 5-digit confirmation code. If you confirm this code, we can be sure that we have the correct number.

Enter the code from our text on or website

Go to and enter your mobile number and the 5-digit code from our text. Click the 'Send' button. This is how you confirm that we are going to transfer the correct number to Simpel.

Respond within 24 hours

Respond to this text as soon as possible so that we can transfer your current number to Simpel at the earliest possible date. Having received your reply, we will request the number transfer from your current provider. The code is valid for 24 hours. We will send you an email with the date of the switch to Simpel within two working days .

Has the code expired?

The 5-digit code is valid for 24 hours. Did you respond after 24 hours or not at all? No problem! We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange number transfer. You can also contact our number transfer department by phone on 088 100 5757. Select the option ‘Nummerbehoud’ in the phone menu.
